Athletic Coordinator

I believe that playing sports as a child, not only builds character and confidence, but also gives these athletes as sense of accomplishment. At South Middle School, we prepare our athletes for the outside world, as they are encouraged to work as a team and not an individual. I expect each player to learn skills that are required to be a good teammate. Being a good teammate at South means, we put our personal goals aside in order to achieve TEAM success. It is the responsibility of the Rebcat athlete to lift others around them by giving them an equal opportunity to shine. Instilling these morals, South Middle School has been extremely blessed to win the ECISD Middle School Athletic Cup for five years in a row. Our SMS athletes are GOOD, but our Coaches have a responsibility to make them GREAT. Without our coaching staff pushing our athletes each day, we would not be able to maintain a successful athletic program.
